Anne Dudek: Blog Experiment
Anne Dudek Mama Blog
Anne Dudek! How are you? I love the blog & I'm psyched that you are going to be on TV regularly this summer. My sister bought the whole season on iTunes!
My question is: If you could stage a Shakespeare production with unlimited funds, which play would it be, which stage would you use, what would be the concept, and who would be your dream cast? -Caissa artlikebread.blogspot.com

Caissa!  Hi!!!!!

I remember looking at this question, and I still haven’t answered it because its tough.  Right now I would say Macbeth.  Ha. Sean Penn as Macbeth.  Clearly me as Lady M.  Darren Aronofsky directing it.  And it would be a tiny tiny stage somewhere hidden in New York City.  Concept would be SIMPLE any unlimited funds we didn’t use would be donated to some sort of program to help abused and neglected children.

I loved you as Amber on House! You portrayed her amazingly, especially as a vivid hallucination in season 5. Those were very chilling. You sound like such a sweet person in real life, how was it like playing such a mean and cutthroat character?

Very fun!  I like playing characters who are complicated, and I think Amber was a mess.  The writers wrote wonderfully for me.

does london count as a major city?

congrats on CA getting picked up for a second season :)
What have you been up to lately?

Hey all you tumblrers… I have decided to continue this blog experiment at a different blogging venue, please come visit and stay a while…

Cool! Can I ask one more question? What is the craziest thing you ever had to do for a role, such as some kind of stunt, etc.?

I had to learn some Arabic for The Book Group which was much harder than it seemed it was going to be.  I also took horseback riding lessons for that show.

i'm an aspiring actress and really look up to you...any advice you could give me about getting started and what to do? thanks!

Get some great training at a great school.  Stay true to yourself.  Move to a major city.
